All residents and visitors to the Big Sky area and Gallatin Canyon are welcome to join Big Sky Hikers for the following hikes this summer:
June 17: 8:15am Indian Creek to Falls, Ousel Falls Loop.June 24: 8:15am Big Horn to Fawn Pass Loop, Black Butte to Daly Loop, Elkhorn Creek.July 1: 7:30am Lightening Lake Loop, Porcupine Loop, Reflector Trail Loop.July 8: 8:15am Lizard Lake, Lava Lake, Bacon Rind.July 15: Wapiti to Sage Creek Loop, Spanish Creek to Pioneer Falls, Specimen Creek.July 22: 7:30am Skyline #1, Beehive Basin, Elk Park Trail.July 27: Annual Picnic at Big Sky Community Park.July 29: 8:15am Three Mystery Hikes.August 5: 7:30am Mount Blackmore, Emerald Lake, Hyalite Lake.August 12: 7:30am Skyline #2, Hidden Lakes, Gallatin Riverside Trail Loop.August 19: 7:30am Porcupine to Lemon Drop, Moose Creek.August 26: Sphinx, Papoose Creek, Gneiss Creek
Directions: Big Sky Hikers will meet at the Big Sky Community Park. From Highway 191, turn north onto Highway 64. Go approximately 2 and 1/2 miles and turn right onto Little Coyote Road. Travel 1/2 mile and Community Park is on the right.
