Rocky Mountain School teaches basic to advanced horsemanship. Historic trail ride to Bannack Ghost Town, ride along the Old Bannack Stage Road, narration of history at Road Agent Rock where famous outlaw gang (road agents) with Bannack sheriff Henry Plummer as head of outlaw gangs held up stage leaving Bannack, robbed miners and killed them.

Great views on the ride of Baldy, Pioneer, Tobacco Root Mountains, Clark Canyon, the head of Horse Prairie Lemhi Pass and Grasshopper Valley where William Clark of the Lewis and Clark expedition returned.

Lunch provided, will tie up at Road Agent Rock to eat lunch and learn history of Bannack and Lewis & Clark and McGruder.

Finish up the ride by dropping in elevation into Bannack where guests can tour the ghost town. When finished sightseeing, guest vehicles will be waiting to take you back to your destination.

Directions: Rocky Mountain School is located off I-15 to Highway 278 west. Turn left between mile marker 7 and 8 on Bon Accord Road. First place on the left, .1 miles.
