Morning Interpretive Walks will be held at Giant Springs State Park. A state park interpretive specialist will take you back in time describing what the Missouri River Valley looked like when Lewis and Clark traveled up the banks of the same area almost 200 years ago. You will be taught about many things including native plants and area history as you are guided from Giant Springs to the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center in time for the first showing of the movie. The walk is less than a quarter mile. Dress appropriately for the weather.

Park fees apply to non residents only, $5.00 per car.

Directions: Morning Interpretive Walks will be held at Giant Springs State Park, located 1/4 mile east of the Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail Interpretive Center. Follow River Road heading east along the Missouri River. Keep following the river and you will turn onto Giant Springs Road which will take you to Giant Springs State Park.
