This event was created to Celebrate Springtime in Yellowstone. The day begins with a sunrise ceremony to greet the new day at 6:00am at the West Entrance gate. We will be back in West Yellowstone at 10:00am for a slide presentation supported by the Montana Committee for the Humanities called: The Buffalo Person; 'Chief of All the Animals,' bison in the landscape of Montana in the 1800s' at West Yellowstone public school. After breaking for lunch we will reconvene at 1:00pm at the school for an afternoon talking circle represented by tribal representatives from across the country. The purpose of the talking circle is to discuss the state of Yellowstone and what can be done to preserve and protect it. A community potluck will end the day at 4:30pm at the school.

Directions: Springtime Celebration will be held at the West Yellowstone Public School located at 416 North Geyser Street, 4 blocks west of Highway 191 which is Main Street. The school is on the northern most end of West Yellowstone.
