Presentation by Nate Murphy on the rich paleontological resources of Phillips County including the latest status report on the preparation of Leonardo. This is a fund raiser event for Judith River Foundation.
Friday - June 17:.5PM - Prehistoric Parade - front street, downtown Malta.6PM - Badlands BBQ -pitch fork steak fondue downtown Malta.7PM - Community Challenge begins - a fun charged activity that continues throughout weekend
7:30 PM - Dr. Robert T. Barker is invited to give an informal but 'graphic' presentation. .9 PM - Jurassic Park at Villa Theatre downtown Malta (tentative)
Saturday - June 18 - Family Day:.Pancake Breakfast - visit 'Elvis' a fully articulated hadrosaurus lying 'in state' at the Phillips County Museum. Breakfast is sponsored by the Phillips County Historical Society
Street Festival -downtown Malta - includes: Scavenger Quilt Hunt, Dino Dig Pit, presentation on Modern Day Raptors, Community Challenge Continues, Venders in park, Dino Camp - fossil mold making, $2.50 per cast, educational programs, Sidewalk Caf‚ at the Cattlemans (featuring grilled bronto burgers and onions). Prehistoric photo board and more.
