Runamuk, a beautiful 18,000 acre, privately-owned ranch, prides itself on its private, exclusive getaways. Opening our doors to a maximum of 10 guests, excluding personalized group events, we are able to offer you individual attention in as many or as few activities as you desire. Located 50 miles north of Billings, Montana, we offer warm, attentive hospitality in a relaxing, rejuvenating environment.
Our combination of mountains, blue sky, and pure pine air presents nature at its finest. Deer peeking in your window, turkeys strutting in the hayfields, elk lying quietly on heavily timbered slopes, and songbirds making music along our three miles of creek bottom only enhance your experience. Through each of the five generations, Runamuk has depended on cattle and the ranching industry for its income and survival. We have now opened the doors to those who wish to partake in the ranching, cowboy, country kind-of-life. Enjoy genuine, warm hospitality in the tradition of the old west. During your stay, you can experience as many aspects of ranching as you like. Riding, the most popular part of ranching, is vital to checking and moving our cattle. We ride good, ranch-raised, cowboy-style horses that can accommodate any experience level. They can safely carry a beginner or work a rope. Work a cow or ride the trails, you can pick and choose and ride 'til your heart's content. Feel free to bring your own horse.

Directions: The Runamuk Guest Ranch is located 50 minutes north of Billings in the Bull Mountains of Roundup. Take Highway 87 North out of Billings to Highway 12 West (approximately 43 miles). Take Highway 12 West to Highway 381 (approximately 6 miles). Take Highway 381 South approximately 7 miles ( 5 miles of pavement, 2 miles of gravel). Watch for Runamuk signs.
