Miles City on the River: Portrait of an Era .A 2 and1/2 year exhibit featuring vintage L.A. Huffman photographs from the Custer County Art & Heritage Center Permanent Collection. Other Miles City photographers from the late 1800's that are also included are Christian Barthelmess, Lady Evelyn Cameron, R.C. Morrison, A. Schlichting and others.
Directions: Miles City on the River is an exhibit at the Custer County Art & Heritage Center, which is located in Miles City just 2 miles off Interstate 94. Take Exit 135, follow the road to our sign and turn on Waterplant Road. Recipient of the 2003 Governor's Arts Award, the center is housed in an historic 1910 municipal water treatment plant. The Art & Heritage Center is located in scenic Waterplant Park and overlooks the Yellowstone River.
