Mothering Up - A Gathering of Cowboy Poets & Pickers |
Meagher County Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture and the White Sulphur Springs Rotary Club are sponsoring their second Annual Mothering -Up -- A Gathering of Cowboy Poets and pickers on Saturday, May 8th in White Sulphur Springs. Poets from surrounding states have already committed to make this gathering even better than the first!
Poets and pickers will gather for day sessions beginning at 10:00am at the White Sulphur Springs High School. These are open to the public free of charge.
The night show entertainment starts at 6:30pm with Warren Taylor, Malta, providing the pre-show music. Featured entertainers for the evening are Jim Hamilton, Decker; Bill Rossiter, Kalispell; Chuck Larsen, Saratoga, Wyoming and 'Wyoming Red' -- sisters Rusty Endecott and Susan Park from Jackson, Wyoming. Margaret Wilhelm, White Sulphur Springs popular poet will once again be the master of ceremonies.
Tickets for the night show are $10 for adults and $5 for children 14 and under.
Cowboy Church will be held on Sunday the 9th at 10:00am at the school.
Other activities for the day include arts and crafts tables, concessions and a silent auction.
Directions: Mothering Up - A Gathering of Cowboy Poets & Pickers will be held at the White Sulphur Springs High School; located at 405 Central Avenue South. Two blocks south of Main Street in the middle of town.
