Pondera History Association Art Auction |
The Art Workshop for kids is made available to all interested kids of Grades 6-12. We offer pencil, watercolor and sand blasting on mirror squares. These classes may vary from year to year. We have the help of local artists and art teachers. The kids are in class for about 2 1/2 - 3 hours. The art work is then matted and taken to the Art Auction that evening. A select group, chosen by the various teachers, are entered into the live auction; others are available to bidders at the Silent Auction.
The Art Auction is held at 7:00pm, following a viewing of items and snacks. We have had a good variety of different types of art, as well as a variety of artists - local, statewide and a few out-of-state artists have been very helpful in making their art available to us. We are doing this to raise money to complete our first Pondera County Museum. We will continue to hold our Art Auction and workshop every other year, after our Museum is completed as well.

Directions: Pondera History Association Art Auction will be held in Norley Hall at Blue Sky Villa. Heading North on Interstate 15, take 2nd exit into Conrad; proceed past the Super 8 Motel (on your left), take the first right hand turn and then take the next right hand turn; continue on that road over the creek (could be dry), turn left and proceed approximately 1/2 block and turn right; this will take you right to Norley Hall
.Heading South on Interstate 15, take first exit and follow the same directions.
