Come and experience the country that Lewis and Clark discovered. Wide open spaces virtually untouched that you can tour on horseback. We offer a pristine environment that lets you get away from it all and connect with family and friends. We border and will ride into the Missouri River Monument. We offer horseback trips in small groups, come ride a day or longer. We provide instruction on horseback riding and experience is not necessary. You will be sleeping under the Big Sky in authentic tepees comfortably furnished with a queen sized log bed. We have solar showers that will be available every evening. We will be camping in an area where there is no electricity or other signs of civilization. We have individual fires in each tepee, but much of your time will be spent around the big campfire where most of the food will be cooked. Quality meals are served family style in one of two camp tents. We will be cooking most of the food in Dutch ovens and will serve fine Montana beef and pork. Rates include meals, lodging and horseback riding. Activities will include horseback riding, mountain biking, bird watching, fossil viewing and wildlife viewing. Directions: Sourdough Ranch Adventures is located 38 miles north of Lewistown at 106 3rd Avenue North in Winifred. We shuttle from there to the ranch, 16 miles east of Winifred.
We offer shuttle services to and from the Billings and Great Falls airports at an additional fee.
