Since 1929, our goal has been simple: to make the best fly rods in the world.
We have been making Winston premium rods for over 75 years, they are not mass produced. Our Winston premium fly rods are hand-crafted by 40 some people whose lives revolve around creating fly rods that are the epitome of quality and performance. Hold one, and you will notice the flawless finish and details like engraved nickel silver endcaps and hand-inscribed serial numbers. Cast one, and you will experience uncommon smoothness, accuracy and power.
We offer a wide selection of fresh and saltwater rods, with actions ranging from very fast to slow. Our graphite and boron/graphite rods use the newest technology available, while our bamboo are still made in the time-honored tradition.
No matter what your fishing requirements, casting skills or personal preferences, there's a Winston that's perfect for you.
Our show room and museum are open Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. Tours are available daily at 11:00am
Directions: R.L. Winston Rod Co. is located on Highway 287 in Twin Bridges. As you head east toward Sheridan the facility is on the right hand side of the road.
