The Milk River Gospel Jamboree is a three-day annual event held the last weekend of June. Starting Friday night at 5pm to 10pm, Saturday 10am to 10pm, and Sunday 1pm to 5:30pm. The Milk River Gospel Jamboree is held outdoors at Trafton Park Arena on the north edge of Malta two blocks north of Royal Inn. This is a family event featuring southern gospel, inspirational, country western and contemporary music. In the event of bad weather the jamboree is moved indoors. Each year 12 to 14 bands from Phillips County, across Montana and Canada participate in the jamboree. Friday night is a youth concert held at the city hall from 10pm to 3am with lots of food and music for the young at heart. Trafton Park has plenty of room for your RV or tent and there are several hotels and restaurants within walking distance. Concessions are available at the arena. Admission to the jamboree is free. Directions: Milk River Gospel Jamboree will be held at the outside facility of the Traften Park Arena (two blocks north of Royal Hotel), located just off Highway 2. Signs will be posted on Highway 2
