The 5th Annual Bullarama July 29, 2005 will be put on by the Roping Club, the Prairie Action League and The Prairie County Chamber of Commerce. The event draws about 650 people. There is a long round and then a short round. Calcutta is on Thursday July 28th at the American Legion Hall in Terry. New this year is Bronc Riding as well.Intermission entertainment will be a surprise event. Food concessions will be available, offering a complete dinner plate and various snacks. A beer booth will sell Budweiser and Mike's Hard Lemonade. Stop in for great bull riding. The entry fee is $75 with $1,500 added purse. Directions: The Bullarama is held at the Terry Fairgrounds. Directions from I-94 take the Terry exit north, turn left at Spring Street, it is the first main road. You will go through downtown and many businesses will be open. Continue through town and after about four miles turn right at the County Fairgrounds sign. Proceed to the gate. Or if coming from the West, exit the Powder River Road and head North to the Frontage Road. Turn right to head East into Terry, about 8 miles. Immediately before getting to town, the sign for the County Fairgrounds is on the left, or North side of the road. Turn left and enjoy.
