Sieben Ranch Rattlesnake Easement encompasses 10,867 acres.

Management goal: To conserve and protect in perpetuity in wildlife habitat while providing public hunting access.

Hunting opportunities: Rattlesnake Creek - Archery and rifle seasons for elk, mule deer, white-tailed deer, black bear, mountain grouse, and Hungarian partridge are open to licensed hunters (permission is not required for fall hunting).

Wildlife viewing: Rattlesnake Creek - Elk and mule deer are the most common year-long residents; white-tailed deer and black bears are less abundant but regularly present. Hungarian partridge, blue grouse, and ruffed grouse are present, along with mountain lions, coyotes, bobcats, small mammals, and migratory and resident bird species. A nationally recognized raptor migration corridor sweeps across all of the properties. Wildlife viewing requires permission from ranch headquarters.

Directions: Rattlesnake Creek Wildlife Management Area is located in Lewis and Clark County 25 miles north of Helena, between the Continental Divide and Interstate 15. Access to Rattlesnake Creek is along State Highway 279.
