Nearby activities offer many opportunities for fun and relaxation, including Discovery Ski Area, Old Works Golf Course (a Jack Nicklaus signature course), Fairmont Hot Springs, National Forest and Wilderness areas, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, hiking, hunting, lake and stream fishing, boat rentals, lakeside dining, and the historic towns of Philipsburg and Anaconda to explore. Elk Meadows is close to both Butte and Missoula, each having a major airport and car rental.

Directions: Elk Meadows Lodge is located at Georgetown Lake on Highway 1, the Pintlar Scenic Route, between Butte and Missoula. From Butte: I-90 west to Anaconda, Highway 1 to the Lake. From Missoula: I-90 to Drummond, Highway 1.
