Ekalaka merchants will participate in a city wide Appreciation Day and Holiday Bazaar on November 19, 2005. Most businesses will hold in store drawings. From 10:00am - 3:00pm, the First National Bank will be serving cookies, coffee and punch. The Bank also has a drawing every 1/2 hour with grand prizes being drawn around 3:00pm. Santa is at the Bank all day to greet the younger crowd. Sagebrush Service Club holds its annual Bazaar and Craft Show in conjunction with Appreciation Days. The Bazaar is held at Carter County High School from 10:00am - 4:00pm. There are approximately forty vendors with a wide variety of items available including arts, crafts, jewelry, baked goods, candies and jellies. Lunch is available and there are several drawings for door prizes throughout the day of items donated by vendors. Free babysitting for pre school children.
