This hand-crafted, six bedroom log home on 28 acres, enjoys an ideal location with Yellowstone River frontage, yet just a few minutes from the town of Livingston. The home is 6,000 square feet and boasts a gourmet kitchen, two living areas, outdoor swimming pool, wrap-around deck and much more. Perfect for family get-togethers, corporate meetings, and fly fishing retreats. The home is on Old Clyde Park Road just east of Livingston. It sits on a bluff overlooking the river with views of the Absaroka Mountains. There are stairs down to the river for fishing access or to launch a raft or canoe. Smaller children would need to be watched if playing outside, as there is no fence between the lawn and the steep drop down to the river.
The lodge has six bedrooms and four full bathrooms. The master suite is on the main level and features a king size bed, television with satellite service, river rock fireplace, a grand piano, doors out to the deck and a large luxurious private bathroom. The master bath has a two person Jacuzzi tub and a separate shower. There are two more bedrooms on the main level of the home - one with two single beds and another with a queen size bed. Both bedrooms have doors to the deck, and there is another full bathroom in the hall between these bedrooms. On the lower level of the home are three more bedrooms. One of these serves as a second master bedroom with a king size bed, television with satellite service and a full private bathroom. There are two single beds in the next bedroom, and two double beds in the third bedroom. A full bathroom is shared between these bedrooms.
The living room has a collection of comfy, overstuffed chairs grouped around a large, low table in front of the enormous river rock fireplace. There is a wet bar with a counter and bar stools off to the side of the living room and doors lead out to the deck overlooking the river. The lodge's living area extends to the lower level family room which has another seating area grouped around a fireplace, television and VCR, a custom made, western style, full size pool table off to the side, and a wet bar as well.
The huge wrap-around deck and the lower level patio have plenty of outdoor seating for meals, relaxing and taking in the views. The outdoor swimming pool and hot tub are great for keeping children, and adults, entertained.
