Salish Mountains Lodge is a unique, 2-bedroom, 3/4 bathroom (shower only) vacation home located at Lower Stillwater Lake, just 15 minutes north of Whitefish. It is fully furnished including new appliances. It is within walking distance of the Stillwater Bar and Restaurant, which offers a casual atmosphere, or just drive 10 miles further north to the Point of Rocks for fine dining. Salish Mountains Lodge is quiet and peaceful, perfect for those who need a change of pace from city life and crowds. Bring your canoes, which can be launched from the rental, and your fishing gear. Small, motorized fishing crafts can be launched from a beach at Stillwater Bar. The vacation home is located within Stillwater State Forest, which is adjacent to Flathead and Kootenai National Forests, and is conveniently close to Eureka, Montana (just 45 miles). Salish Mountain Lodge is also near Glacier National Park, Fernie, B.C. and Cranbrook, B.C to the north, and Whitefish to the south.
Directions: At mile marker 142 (if traveling north) prepare to turn west off HIghway 93. Proceed past the Stillwater Bar to the third house on the left, which is a green colored home. Pull down the driveway.
