The Essex Cabins are with walking distance of Glacier National Park and the Great Bear Wilderness area. There is one king sized bed and 2 queen sized beds. This unique cabin was built during the railroad era of the 1940's. The cabin is conveniently located in Glacier Park Country on the south side of the Park in Essex, Montana. This location is an Amtrak stop and also has easy access from US Highway 2. The cabin happens to be through the forest and down a trail to the Amtrak stop and two blocks away from the famous historical hotel, The Izaak Walton Inn.
Directions: Essex is south of Glacier National Park. The cabin is easily accessible a half a mile off of Highway 2 past the famous Izaak Walton Inn. You can also ride an amtrack and literally walk down a trail through the forest to the cabin from the Essex train stop.
