Think of an evening with romantic Latin music and dancing for your Valentine's celebration and think Quartango, a treat for both the eyes and ears. Based in Quebec, the four classically trained musicians and Argentinian dancers Fabian and Roxana come together to share their passion for tango in an exceptional performance where melody and movement are in perfect harmony. Taking tango in new directions are Richard Hunt piano, Denis Plante bandoneon (an Argentinian accordion), Rene Gosselin double bass, and Noemi Racine-Gaudreault violin. Together they offer up a repertoire ranging from the classic tangos to tango neuvo and Piazolla. They also explore other genres from jazz and opera to waltzes and jigs in their own inimitable style.
