Fairfield Swim Days |
Fairfield Swim Days : Our kick off event is Thursday evening at 6:00pm - join us at the Community Hall for a BBQ, pie social and silent auction. Friday events start with a golf tournament at 4:00pm at Harvest Hills Golf Course in Fairfield, followed by (8:00pm) a teen night of fun and games at the swimming pool, a rooter float in the park and a street dance (9:00pm). Saturday begins with a fun run/walk for all ages at 7:00am, a pancake breakfast at the Senior Citizens Drop-In Center at 7:00am, large parade at 10:30am, games in the park for young and old begin following the parade and the noon BBQ featuring beef (cooked by the firemen all night in a BBQ pit) - delicious! Numerous food and beverage booths are there to tempt your appetite. Enjoy our community talent show at 2:00pm.
All proceeds benefit our swimming pool.
Directions: Fairfield Swim Day events take place in the City Park, which is located on Main Street (eastern direction on the north side of the street) or near the city park. If you are heading north toward Fairfield, turn right at the Cenex building onto Main Street; if heading south toward Fairfield, turn left at the Cenex building.
