Jack-O-Lantern Festival |
Each Saturday before Halloween the Columbia Falls community throws out the 'orange carpet'. Individuals and groups are encouraged to bring their carved pumpkins to line the main street from 4:00pm to 9:00pm. Carving and decorating pumpkins, costume parade, scariest scream contest and Haunted House are just some of the fun activities. A great viewing of the many unique creations during the black & orange holiday. Bring your own jack-o-lantern! Everyone welcome!
4pm - 9pm: Outside food vendors with various musical groups entertaining.
6pm: Costume Parade around the block.
everyone encouraged to dress up! Treats given to participants.
6:30pm: Scariest Scream Contest and games.
7:30pm: Awards Ceremony.
Best Recipes and Traveling Trophy to highest % participation by business; Pizza Party to classroom with greatest participation; Drawings for prizes.
8pm: Haunted House, by Columbia Falls High School, for the younger set.
will open the evening of Halloween, too.
