Horse Plains Photo Adventures is located in western Montana. There is a splendid mix of mountains, water, public land and private amenities that provide unlimited opportunities for photography, hiking, birding, wildlife viewing and wild flower displays for the ultimate Montana Safari.
We limit participation to six guests per tour to guarantee quality service. All trips are custom planned and are 3-5 days in length.
Our services are available to anyone interested in wildlife and nature. Photography opportunities are available for beginners or professionals.
Directions: Horse Plains Photo Adventure is located in northwest Montana. The nearest airport is located in Missoula, MT. Visitors that drive should stay on I-90 until St. Regis, MT and then drive MT Highway 135 to the junction of Highway 200. Turn left, (west) on Highway 200 and drive into Plains, MT. Drive through Plains on Main Street, turn right at the intersection across from the Sinclair gas station and follow the directions to the fairgrounds. Cross the bridge by the fairgrounds and turn right at the T corner. Stay on the blacktop. About 5 miles from town you will travel up a long grade known as Sand Hill. Stay on the blacktop road until you come to an intersection known as 4 Corners. The Kuester home is one mile ahead on Swamp Creek Road. There is a large black mailbox with Kuester 837 on the side.
