Year 2005 Flathead Lake Polar Bear Plunge |  |
The Polar Bear Plunge is every January 1st, 2:00pm at the Raven Brew Pub in Woods Bay on Flathead Lake. The Raven is open for those wishing to eat and drink. T-shirts are available to Plungers at $5.00 each. It is a family event, to welcome the New Year with a chilling dip. Spectators are welcome also. Bring your suit, towel, camera and good humor. Costumes are encouraged.
Parade is at 1:45pm, from the Duck to the Raven. If you arrive at 2:15pm, the organized event is all over, but the lake is open for swimming all year!
Directions: The Polar Bear Plunge will take place at The Raven Brew Pub and Grill in Woods Bay on Highway 35, 5 miles south of Bigfork, Montana on Flathead Lake.
