Tucked away in a little valley beside a cool mountain stream in a profoundly beautiful setting, rests 'Call of the Wild Inn', your destination. Guest lodging for fish, duck, geese, moose, deer, bear, human beings, and the horse you rode up on. Welcome!

Call of the Wild Inn is a magical place, a unique and pristine habitat, on the road less traveled. Nestled up close to the wilderness, on 11 bio-diverse acres, this natural hideaway is dominated by tall trees, mountains and the maw of Mill Creek Canyon. Perched on a ridge overlooking the casting pond, creek, and the 'enchanted forest', quiet and solitude abound for those who seek it. Then again, discovery and adventure awaits those who choose to 'brave' the deep forest that is our neighborhood. The tumbling waters of the creek lends an unending backdrop to Nature's rhythms, a constant reminder of the changing flow of life.

Whether you take refuge in the Bunkhouse or Rock Garden Room with their own kitchens and private accommodations or seek sanctuary in one of the three hand-crafted rooms of the Inn, B & B, with other interesting guests, our offering is to all, the pleasures and comfort graciously furnished with family heirlooms and travel collectibles evoking an eclectic ambiance of rustic romanticism, rural refinement and casual charm. A secluded place to get away, (not far away from it all), Montana style. Savor the memories, 'Inn' an atmosphere of gracious hospitality.

Featuring natural healthful cuisine, presented in a provincial, Mediterranean manner. With menus that vary according to local market availability of fresh products, the chef's creativity and your 'special' requests.

We encourage you to bring your easel, pad, pen, rod and reel, (picture lifting a feisty little 'cut throat' from the creek); binoculars, camera; hike, bike or ride the great Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness, just a stone's throw away. River rafting, bird watching, fishing and wildlife viewing with guides or teachers at your request. Need a massage' That can be arranged as well! Weddings, wakes, weekend breaks and anything in between with accommodations for 2-14.

Breakfast on the verandah or your porch or, cozy up in one of our robes with java and a good read from the library. Wet a line, picnic by the pond, or fish Mill Creek beyond, with private access form the grounds. Wander the 'enchanted forest', enjoy 'afternoon delights' under the old apple tree; contemplate
