Chinaman's Gulch is a state recreation area located in southwest Montana near Canyon Ferry Reservoir. There is a basic campground available. Facilities include restrooms and drinking water. Fishing, swimming and boating may be enjoyed on the lake. There is a boat launch accessible. Please limit stay to 14 days. There is a usage fee.

Directions: Chinaman's Gulch State Recreation Area is located 9 miles east of Helena on US Highway 287 to Mile Post 55, then 10 miles northeast on Secondary 284.
