Iron Wheel Guest Ranch features friendly hospitality. With fishing and trail rides in a beautiful rural setting with easy access. In spring come enjoy watching nature wake up with wildflowers, and wildlife babies all beginning to appear. In summer many guests choose to stay awhile and float some of the Blue Ribbon Rivers located near here. Many packages are available to float and fish or take scenic tours, private pond fishing is an option. Trail rides are popular and relaxing, riding out from here at the lodge. You may opt to just enjoy a quiet mountain evening playing horseshoes or sitting around the fire pit.

We offer BBQ's and picnic's for groups as well as doing reunions and seminars. There is lots of room for children to play, exercise and enjoy the Montana outdoors. Lewis and Clark Caverns are located nearby in the Lewis and Clark State Park. Fall brings beautiful colors and excellent fishing in the area. During hunting season we are located near forest lands using the lodge for our outfitted clients. There are cross country ski trails located 3 miles from the lodge. Sleigh riding can be excellent.

Our lodge is 6,000 square feet and offers 2 kitchens, rec rooms and lots of home comforts and hospitality, along with our home style meals. Give us a call (406)494-2960.

Directions: Iron Wheel Guest Ranch is located just 1/2 mile off of Highway 2 West, 13 miles west of Whitehall and 15 miles east of Butte between mile markers 70 and 71. You cross the Continental Divide coming from Butte. We are located on 60 acres in Jefferson County and border BML lands as well as other private land. Little Pipestone Creek runs through our property.

We are located between Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks; so for a stopping point we welcome you. Airport transportation is available from Butte.
