Western Rendezvous of Art |
The 27th annual Western Rendezvous of Art takes place August 18-21, 2005. The Rendezvous features 60 of the nation's premier artists, members of the Northwest Rendezvous Group of Artists (NWR) and their invited guest artists. The 2005 Rendezvous includes a gallery art show; seminars, artists' reception and the popular Quick Draw and auction, with complimentary brunch at the historic Sieben Ranch. The gala Awards banquet and set price art sale takes place Saturday night. Rendezvous concludes Sunday Morning with a continental breakfast and art pick up.
This show is popular with artists and patrons for the high caliber of original art and the hospitality of the sponsors. Tickets are sold in advance for all events except the seminars, which are free and open to the public. There are ample opportunities to mingle informally with the artists during the three day event. We encourage advance ticket purchase because some of the events sell out.
This annual show is sponsored by the city of Helena Civic Center Board (all volunteers) and the Montana Historical Society. Proceeds go for improvements to the historic Helena Civic Center and the art acquisition fund at the Montana Historical Society.
Directions: Western Rendezvous of Art will be held at the Helena Civic Center, located at the corner of Neill Avenue and Park Avenues.
