Powder River Buffalo Shoot is always held Saturday and Sunday, the first weekend in June. Using a traditional single shot or lever action rifle, .375 or larger, five metal targets ranging from 250 to 1,000 yards are shot . Six shots will be fired at each target, with one target being off hand. Bring enough ammunition, sunscreen, spotting scopes and lawn chairs for a fun afternoon and day of shooting. Sight in on Saturday and shoot on Sunday.

Directions: Powder River Buffalo Shoot will be held 3 muiles west of Broadus near the new air strip off Highway 59 North. Follow signs.low signs.
