Hot Laps Mountain Bike Jam |
Head to the vertical slopes of Snowbowl for this annual mountain bike competition. The Point Six Hill Climb is a grueling uphill climb of nearly 3000 vertical feet. The 2nd Though Downhill is the downhill equivalent. Professional and amateur racers from the region compete for a cash purse and prizes. Sponsored by Big Sky Cyclery and sanctioned by USA Cycling. Spectators welcome free of charge. Watch the finish line from the newly renovated Last Run Inn while enjoying cold drink and homemade wood-fired pizza.
Directions: Hot Laps Mountain Bike Jam will be held at Snowbowl Ski Area. Take Reserve Street Exit North off I-90, follow the Grant Creek drainage for 4 miles, turn left on Snowbowl Road and follow for 6 miles. Snowbowl is at the end of the road.
