Montana Watercolor Society's Watermedia Exhibition |
The Montana Watercolor Society's Watermedia National Juried Exhibition is held annually at the Bigfork Art and Cultural Center, 525 Electric Ave., Bigfork, Montana, during the month of October. Hours are 10:00am - 5:00pm Tues. - Sat. Closed Sun. and Mon. Artists from across the nation and Montana enter this highly rated show. Seventy five paintings are chosen by a nationally known water media artist each year. Cash awards are given as well as merchandise awards totaling over $3,000. In conjunction with the Watermedia Celebration there is a free Opening Reception and Gallery Talk given by the juror. The Society sponsors a four day artist workshop, a slide presentation and social gathering, and an Awards Banquet with a Member's Art Auction.
