Germanfest |
Germanfest is an annual ethnic heritage celebration that highlights Missoula's Sister City relationship with Neckargemund, one of the oldest communities in Germany. The celebration is held in the Pavilion at Caras Park alongside the Clark Fork River in downtown Missoula. A typical program includes free musical entertainment and German style dancing. Children's activities and an information booth on German culture are included. Also available are modestly-priced ethnic foods and, naturlich, Bayern brew beverages.
An official delegation from Neckargemund will be present as part of a week long celebration of this decade long sister city relationship.
Directions: The Germanfest is located in downtown Missoula on the banks of the Clark Fork River.
