The creek provides fair fishing for pan-sized cutthroat trout. Fishing is only available through Wigwam Creek for 2 miles; above that, the creek is too small to support fish.

Access to the creek is provided by parking at Wigwam creek on Road 7080 and walking to the stream. Access to the stream is fair, but brush and downed timber are present. There are several dispersed recreation campsites in the Wigwam drainage and two National Forest campgrounds; Big Therriault and Little Therriault lakes.

Directions: Follow US Highway 93 for 3 miles north of Fortine to Grave Creek Road 114. Turn and travel approximately 25 miles to the junction of Forest Service Road 7080, which leads to Big Therriault Lake Campground. From the creek crossing, walk upstream 2.5 miles.
