Access is by foot travel only as the creek is lined in many spots with heavy timber and brush. Fair fishing provides pan-sized rainbow and cutthroat trout, and whitefish. The upper drainage, 2 miles past the barricade, was logged during the 1950s and presents a more accessible creek bottom than is found downstream. There are no campground facilities. Directions: Follow US Highway 93, 3 miles north of Fortine, to Grave Creek Road 114. Travel 3 miles on Grave Creek Road, the turn right. After crossing the bridge over Grave Creek, travel Forest Service Road 7019 for 6 miles. The road ends at the barricade and the creek is .3 mile to the left. Travel on foot .2 mile beyond this point to find access by a narrow road leading down to the creek. Access to the upper reaches of Williams Creek must be gained by walking the road.
