Therriault Creek

Fortine Montana

Listing Type: Creek
City: Fortine Montana
Region: Glacier Country

The creek provides fair fishing for cutthroat, rainbow, and eastern brook trout, and Dolly Varden. The fishing along the creek is all on private land and permission should be obtained from landowners before fishing.

Directions: Follow US Highway 93 for 6 miles north of Fortine to the junction of the Therriault Creek Road, turning east. Fishing is fair for the first 1.5 miles, but above that point fishing is limited due to the small amount of water present to support fish. There is also fishing available from the junction of US Highway 93 down to the Tobacco River.
