In the heart of western Montana's Flathead Indian Reservation is a unique cultural center, built by the region's original creators of the fine arts and crafts: the Salish, Kootenai and Pend d'Oreille peoples. It is more than a museum; it is a vital, living encounter with Native American culture, as centuries-old wisdom for living harmoniously with the earth is practiced and taught. The center features an exhibit gallery, educational programs and Native Ed-Venture interpretive tours focusing on Native American heritage, natural history and cultural interpretation.
